I hung bats
from my earlobes
close to my throat
twice I was bitten
startled as if I hadn’t
offered them a sip
I hung bats
from my earlobes
close to my throat
twice I was bitten
startled as if I hadn’t
offered them a sip
the mirrors
inside me
have teeth
and bite
