Beneath His Attention

A Lokean Devotional Vignette

“Your sidecut needs its edges cleaned up, Dear,” Loki says.

“Oh my God, Loki!”

“Yes.”

“You’re right. It’s been a month or more since I had it trimmed,” I mumble, lowering my head beneath his attention.

The Ravens Circle

A Lokean Devotional Vignette

The ravens circle, laughing, cackling.
I break into tears, joy on my lips.

Loki, tall behind me.

“You are okay,” he says.

“I don’t feel like I am.”

“You are.”

I can hear his smile.

You Already Have That

A Lokean Devotional Vignette

“I want a life where I sleep, eat, drink, and play as I need to, and I work because I like to,” I tell him wistfully, daydreaming.

“Rest from. Not rest because,” Loki teaches me.

Sovereignty

A Lokean Devotional Vignette

“I went through hell and have nothing to show for it.”

“Your sovereignty. You have your freedom to show for it.” He says softly.

Loki turns my perspective righted.
