even the window
called the witch
powerful
enough to tip
to the side
and shudder
Tag: liminal (Page 1 of 2)
the way pine tasted
magic slick
sharply wild
confluence met me
without pretense
The Tower
lays me out
I never belonged there
He breaks my descent
it’s not over or begun,
mid sentence
His lips part with mine
tears open my eyes
Bat flits
Nature’s Gothica unwrapped
wings outspanned
shadow’s friend
my legs became owl
and wings like scissors
scored the night
with tiny tears
eyes that mirror
disguises dropped
our nature shown
spread open
bare soul
sweat beading
cells breathing
my body greening up
wand of thirst
before tree
we night mingle
blur
danger flicker
eyes
growl
instincts forgetting nothing
my furs aroused
stuck in green wool
upward bound
Ice stark like espresso
splices my insides
fire alive
under the orange peel of sunlight
morning remembers me
stardust cells
chilled from night’s wash
lips on frozen breath
I stretch, holding what I can carry
