“Let’s play farm. I’ll be the pig…. and you be my trough.”
His expression tells me he’s serious.
“Okay.”
“Excellent! Lie over there. Now I’ll wear this blindfold and find you using only my keen senses.”
Loki ties a black scarf behind his head as I do as I’m told.
Later, I cry-laughter.
“I didn’t know it could be fun.”
“What, Dear pet?”
“Mating.”
“Oh, right… is that okay?”
“Better than okay.”
An Intimate Lokean Devotional
“I’m the Baker, and I’d like to frost your cupcakes.” One eyebrow twitches.
He mirrors my grin, hands on his hips.
“Good. It’s settled then. Try not to move. This is delicate work.”
Loki warns.
I fail immediately, of course.

lights my eyes
aglow, fixed
his smile
is electric
soul
lights
me up
spider’s
patterned web
around my heart
holding me
loved and kept
the bridge formed between us
and i ran across it to him
arms open
smile shaping my whole body
lips to his lips
remembering
pinned
held
surrounding me
all corners
foundation
sound
flutter
blink
woman burning
fire speak
through my heart
I drink
his mercy
All the while
I wasn’t chosen
as I chose him
our love
slow mist risen
from flower pistil
breath to breath
kissing teeth
