lays me out

rendering tree
I’m split
vertically open
splash thud
my heart

crystal teeth
shelter that speaks
breaking down
becoming his
like nature taught me
I yield
folding
into connection
stripped
turned under
bearing devotion
spooked
my blood
runs
frozen hands
adrenaline
eyes wide
thirst-pinched
lips
skin-glitching
burning masks
into ashes

spreading
